As a Preschool Teacher at the Primrose School of Mt. Juliet, you will provide your 3- and 4-year-old students a fun, safe environment for students to discover new concepts with confidence. Using our provided daily schedule and research informed curriculum, you will have an opportunity to meet each child at their individual level and help guide them through small group instruction as they grow in their ability to absorb new content and understand increasingly complex information.
What Your Experience Looks like as a Primrose Teacher:
- Curriculum with clear daily plans, necessary resources, and support so you can focus your time in the classroom on forming connections with the children—and spend your time outside of school focused on yourself.
- Carefully paired co-teacher who complements your teaching style
- Work with your co-teacher to implement the lesson plans from the research-informed Balanced Learning® curriculum.
- Prepare materials that help children explore their environment through learning activities and active play.

Qualifications:
- Must be 21 years of age or older to apply.
- Must have patience and a strong desire to love and nurture young children
- Work experience in a licensed childcare facility preferred
- Must meet required state background check
- Must be able to work on iPad to enter children's daily logs and write incident reports and messages to parents. Up to par with oral and written skills
- Patience, attentive, and understanding for young children and their developmental needs
- Sense of urgency and flexibility
- Positive and caring attitude
- Coachable (receptive to feedback)
- Dependable (our school operations rely on and require your attendance)
